The name "GO-14" is a code that signifies "Ghesquière October 2014." This bag made its debut on the runway during Nicolas Ghesquière's initial stint as artistic director at Louis Vuitton, marking one of his earliest creations for the brand. For its 2023 revival, it has been reimagined with a fresh appearance, featuring a distinctive attribute that harks back to Louis Vuitton's heritage: malletage, a crisscross padded pattern originally found inside Louis Vuitton trunks.
This iconic hallmark of the brand has now become the signature feature of the GO-14, crafted from padded lambskin, offering a plush and contoured texture. The bag is available in a range of colors, including classic black and brown, as well as a striking monochromatic style that Cate Blanchett has already sported. Offered in large, medium, or mini sizes, it can be worn as a crossbody or a shoulder bag, making it a versatile addition to your wardrobe.
